Integrative Counselling in Bristol

A space to explore what’s happening for you.

You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply unsure about what comes next.

Perhaps there are feelings you need space to explore, experiences you want to make sense of or patterns you would like to understand more deeply.
Whatever your reason, you have arrived at the right place.

My approach

I'm a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with over a decade’s experience of supporting people professionally. This means our work is shaped around you — your experiences, needs and pace.

I see you as the expert in your own experience. My role is to offer a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space where you can explore what matters to you.

Our work might focus on a particular experience or relationship, difficult emotions, your sense of identity, or simply developing a deeper understanding of yourself.

Sessions can be short-term or ongoing, this can be discussed at the start of our work.

Working with the body

My counselling practice is also informed by my work as a somatic yoga teacher.

Where appropriate, we can bring gentle awareness to what is happening in your body alongside talking and reflection.

This might involve noticing sensations, movement, breath or other physical responses.

There is no expectation that you need to practise yoga or move during counselling. These approaches are simply available if they feel useful to you.

Areas I work with

I have experience supporting people with:

  • Complex trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Gender and sexual identity

  • Sexual assault

  • Identity and belonging

  • Attachment and complex life experiences

  • Substance misuse

I have a particular interest in trauma, identity and belonging, and supporting people with migrant heritage. I also have experience working with people involved in activism, direct action and social change.

You don't need to fit into a particular category to come to counselling, I welcome humans of all backgrounds in my practice. If you feel drawn to reach out, whatever your reason, then I would love to hear from you.
